Their camaraderie with the patrons creates a lively and welcoming vibe, making it feel less like a bar and more like a community hangout.
Step inside, and the charm continues. Tee Delrio shared her experience of discovering this hidden treasure while exploring Fountain Square. With a vintage feel and an upstairs game room complete with pool tables for just $5 an hour, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The bar area radiates a laid-back atmosphere where you can indulge in delicious food while enjoying the company of friends or meeting new ones.
Food is undoubtedly a highlight at Imbibe. Customers rave about the homemade garlic knots and white queso cheese, which Phil Pettigrew describes as excellent. According to Aaron Hawkins, not only is the food top-notch, but the drinks are also exceptional, complementing the laid-back ambiance perfectly. From lemon pepper wings to a sampler platter that Tee savored, the menu promises freshness and satisfying flavors that will keep you coming back for more.
What truly elevates Imbibe above the ordinary is the passion and dedication they pour into every dish. Shawn O'Connor aptly noted that the food is “WAY better than it should be here!” This statement highlights the unexpected quality of the meals in a bar setting. Visitors can anticipate surprises that will excite their taste buds and leave them impressed.
In conclusion, Imbibe is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking good food, great drinks, and an enjoyable atmosphere in Indianapolis. With friendly staff, a welcoming vibe, and a menu that exceeds expectations, it’s clear why this spot has gained such a loyal following. Come for the food, stay for the community, and leave with a full heart.
“ Staff was super nice, fun crowd, kitchen open late. Eric and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help me out (dumb situation of my own creation) and I really appreciated it, seriously it was very nice of them. I stayed at the hotel connected and everyone I interacted with there was extremely nice and helpful. ”
“ I was visiting from Miami, FL and me and my man decided to take a stroll around fountain square and we stumbled upon this place. It was such a vibe. We played pool upstairs and it was only 5 bucks for 1 hour! It was such a vintage little spot. We decided to eat at the bar and I had the best sampler of life! I decided on the lemon pepper wings and everything was made fresh. I will be visiting Indianapolis again and this place will be our go to again. ”
“ Average bar downstairs with great home made garlic knots and white queso cheese. Has a excellent game room upstairs ”
“ Great spot for food, drinks, and fun! Laid back atmosphere and great drinks. Staff is very friendly. Have pool upstairs and tables to sit and lounge. Would recommend the fried and garlic knots. ”
“ The food is WAAAAY better than it should be here! ”
“ Imbibe was friendly, multi level place in a classic theater building. Pool hall, social up stairs, good space to chill, game room and tunes. We tried the house smoked pork nachos. Look forward to exploring the roof top during the warmer season. ”
“ I go for the game night they have every 2 weeks. Very chill vibe. But lots of fun people come out to play. I was new and everyone made me feel welcomed! Drink selection is good and I enjoy the burger on the menu. Also, I am not a huge tater total fan. Usually places cook them too soft and the cook here makes them crunchy and perfect every single time! I come here to have tater tots and don't eat them any other place! Great food and the bartender Casey is the best! Funny & personable! ”
“ We didn't eat here. We only played pool and darts and ordered a few cocktails. It seems like this once was a very popular place but might not be as much anymore. We also attended on a Wednesday around 6:00 and stayed for a few hours, so that might have also made it seem less crowded. The pool tables, as well as the sticks, have seen some action but still played just fine. The dart boards and darts were in good shape. You must get your balls/darts from the bar downstairs to play. There is a nice view from the second floor. Prices were very fair and we did enjoy out time there. ”
